More dragons

I am ashamed to have forgotten to include two of my favorite dragons on my previous post:

Spyro, the title character in the Playstation video game series:

and Gorbash, from the animated film The Flight of Dragons:

I actually really like the design of Spyro, mainly because modeling is not going to be my focus, and this character is really capable of making strong facial expressions. Spyro is a pretty spunky character and yet endearing at the same time.

Great reference, can't wait to see what you come up with!

Aw! I like the Spyro design, too! His face is really expressive. His body looks kind of like a cat- or dog-type of body, which could influence his posture.

I agree with Claire. Spyro is great and I think would work really well with your story.

I LOVE Spyro. That's exactly the type of dragon I pictured when first hearing your story idea. Way to go!

Spyro would be great for animation purposes like the brow and eyes for expresssion! I think he's perfect for coming up out of the well. I like the well... he's making a dragon, I say keep the well!

Haha, love those T-shirts. You would think, we're all getting our master's degrees in digital IMAGING, and that we should be able to figure out a stupid iron on T-shirt transfer. Apparently not. Anyhow, about the well, I also like the well idea, but is there any way you can use something modern? Something like, maybe his mom has a decorative lawn ornament well in the front yard, or maybe he uses the manhole in the street. I don't know, something that has the potential to be in a modern day yard. Good luck!
