Anyway, I did manage to get some stuff done between yesterday and today. I modeled the well, which will of course look much better with textures and bump on it.
After much fretting I decided to put most of the final ingredient bottle detail in bump and possibly displacement texture. What I did do, however, is rig a liquid meniscus that can go up and down, and rotate, simulating the moving surface of liquid as the bottle is jolted or picked up. tomorrow and friday: redo textures for manual for single ingredient idea, rework 3D animatic, model the dragon. Yeah right, but I'll work as hard as possible, I promise!
